This Freescale Continua Application Hosting Device (AHD) reference platform running Lamprey Networks Inc. HealthLink/OXP-Library software is the first Continua Certified AHD hardware "reference" platform and also the first AHD certified running the Linux operating system. This platform enables very cost effective mass market Tele-health appliances with 720p video conferencing capabilities to be rapidly prototyped and brought to market quickly.

The i.MX51 EVK has two optional add-on modules; an LCD and an expansion board. Based on a powerful ARM Cortex-A8 core, the i.MX51 EVK delivers extreme performance and provides long battery life helping developers design products that meet today's demands for energy efficiency. Linux®, Android, and Windows® Embedded CE Board Support Packages (BSP) are available.
